Who Makes Nectar Mattresses?
Nectar’s parent company is Resident. Formally known as DreamCloud Holding, LLC, Resident owns a handful of mattress brands, including Level Sleep, Nectar, and Awara.
After doing some more digging, it looks like Nectar’s mattresses are manufactured by Nectar itself. However, its manufacturing is overseen by its parent company, Resident. So it looks like both entities are responsible for Nectar’s manufacturing.
Where are Nectar Mattresses Made?
As for where Nectar mattresses are made, it’s quite an interesting story. To give you a straight answer, its mattresses are mostly made in China. It also looks like it manufactures some of its mattresses in the UK, but China is its main base of operations.
There are lots of people out there who believe that Nectar manufactures its products in the US. This is because the company used to claim that its mattresses are assembled in the US. However, they aren’t.
Nectar got into some legal trouble in 2018 for its false claims about where its mattresses are made. This information comes directly from the Federal Trade Commission. According to the FTC, none of Nectar’s mattress assembly is carried out in the US.
Since the legal troubles, Nectar has agreed to stop making false claims about its products being American made.

History of Nectar Mattresses
Nectar Sleep was founded in 2016. It is a mattress specialist and despite coming from humble beginnings, it has made a name for itself as one of America’s top-selling mattress manufacturers.
Unfortunately, things haven’t always been plain sailing for Nectar. As mentioned above, the company got into some legal trouble regarding false advertisements back in 2018. Luckily, the company has come back with a more honest approach regarding its manufacturing locations.
As for its products, Nectar is very proud and confident when it comes to the quality of its mattresses. In fact, the company offers a 365-night trial on its products. Nectar has also won a handful of awards for its mattresses, including being a winner of the 2023 Product of the Year USA award.
Nectar has a plethora of 4 and 5-star reviews for its mattresses, and, as the company continues to expand its product line, it seems like the number of great reviews is only going to go up.
