When it comes to mattresses, there are lots of options to choose from. While quality is crucial, where the mattress is made is also an important factor to take into consideration. Because of this, I’ll be taking a look at where Helix mattresses are made and who makes them.
Who Makes Helix Mattresses?
Helix has a series of investors that have helped to keep the brand growing. Its investors include Double J Capital, Great Oaks VC, Simon Venture Group, WIT, and more. Thanks to its investors, Helix has managed to expand and it now sells its mattresses in Canada as well as in the US.
As for who makes Helix mattresses, Helix is owned by Cerberus Capital Management. This change happened back in October of 2021. Cerberus Capital Management is now responsible for overseeing Helix’s manufacturing.
However, it does state on a media post sent out by Cerberus, that Helix will continue to operate under its local brand name. So, while Cerberus oversees Helix’s manufacturing, the mattress production is still carried out under the Helix name.
Where are Helix Mattresses Made?
This was a very easy question to answer. All of Helix’s mattresses are handmade by professionals at the company’s facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This information came directly from the Helix Sleep website, so this is information that we can assume should be trusted.
Each mattress is shipped directly from its facility in Arizona to the customer’s front door. However, I couldn’t find much regarding where Helix gets its materials from. It does look like some of its materials are sourced from within the US, but it is unclear how much of its materials come from overseas.

History of Helix Mattresses
Helix was founded in 2015. Since it was established, it has always focused its attention on bedding and bed-related products. While it started out only offering products to those living in the US, in 2016, Helix expanded its reach to sell products to consumers in Canada.
Its mattresses have very high ratings. Its ratings range from an average of 4.4 to 5 stars depending on the mattress model. Needless to say, it would appear that Helix knows how to make a comfortable mattress.
The company seems to be growing very quickly. Its headquarters is located in New York City, and thanks to it recently being acquired by Cerberus, the future looks very bright for Helix.
