Now that we know which companies offer suspenders manufactured in the USA let’s take a closer look at each one in more detail.

Welch Suspenders

Starting off, we have what is probably one of the most well-known American suspender manufacturers. Welch Suspenders was founded in 1967 by Fred Welch. He had an idea to produce workwear accessories. Fast forward to today, and the company is a very popular choice for people all over the US looking for suspenders.

There’s a phrase that is repeated across the company’s website – “Handcrafted in the USA.” Each pair of Welch Suspenders’ products are produced at its manufacturing facility in Portland, Oregon. It has been manufacturing its products in Oregon since it was founded, making it one of the longest-standing American suspender manufacturers.

According to Cavender’s PFI, Eli’s Western Wear, and numerous other sources, Nocona suspenders are proudly built in the USA. While it doesn’t state exactly where in the US Nocona’s suspenders are made, the company operates a manufacturing facility in Nocona, Texas. Since this is where the company manufactures most of its products, I feel like it’s safe to assume that its suspenders are made here. That said, not all of Nocona’s suspenders are American-made.
