After a lot of research, I was able to find 5 companies that manufacture laundry detergent in the USA. They are Biokleen, Meliora Cleaning Products, Dropps, ECOS, and Eco-Me.

Now that we know which companies offer American made laundry detergent, let’s take a closer look at each one in more detail.
Biokleen
Biokleen is an eco-friendly company that produces green cleaning products that are excellent at cleaning and stain removal. The company offers dryer sheets, laundry powder, and of course, laundry detergent.

According to a question answered on the company support page, Dropps products are manufactured in the Midwest in the USA. Unfortunately, it doesn’t go into the specifics, but at least we know that its products are American made.

ECOS was founded in 1967. For more than 50 years, the company has been offering quality laundry-based products. Today, the company specializes in producing eco-conscious cleaning products that are powered by plants.
According to the company’s official website, its eco-conscious liquid laundry detergent is made in the USA with 100% renewable energy. Also, after reading through a few of the company’s product descriptions, each one is clearly labeled with a “Made in USA” flag in the product description.

According to Eco-Me’s about us page, it has been manufacturing its products at a facility in Southern California since it was founded. The company also does its utmost to purchase materials from local suppliers whenever possible.

Honorable Mention
I came across one company that does manufacture laundry detergent in the USA. However, its containers are primarily produced in China, so it gets an honorable mention. Here’s what I found.
Branch Basics
Branch Basics is a company that offers non-toxic cleaning products that are kind to the environment yet tough on dirt.
The company is very open about its manufacturing location. According to Branch Basics’ FAQ page, the chemicals themselves are made in the USA using US and Europe-sourced materials. Most of its bottles are also made in the US. However, its scrub brushes, glass bottles, spray triggers, and silicone sleeves are made in China.
