Before getting into the article, some readers may notice that some companies are missing from this list. A handful of American ice cream maker brands didn’t make this list as this list is for consumer products. Companies such as Neil Equipment are geared toward businesses and therefore didn’t meet the requirements for this article.
Which Company Produces Ice Cream Makers Made in the USA? (The Short Answer)
I was able to find one American ice cream maker brand. That brand is Immergood.
American Made Ice Cream Makers (Here’s What I Found)
Now that we know which brand produces American made ice cream makers, let’s take a look at it in a little more detail.
Immergood
Immergood is a family-operated ice cream maker business located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Immergood saw that many companies were moving production abroad which had a negative impact on product quality. Immergood seeks to change this by manufacturing high-quality ice cream makers solely in the US.
Immergood is very open about its company history on its website. It states that in the beginning, the company did import some of its cast parts from abroad, but as demand grew, the company turned to American parts instead.
All of Immergood’s products are made at its manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, USA. The company uses a number of small rural American shops to provide all the pieces needed to manufacture its ice cream makers.

Honorable mention
I did find one company that didn’t quite meet the criteria for this list as it only produces old-fashioned ice cream makers, which isn’t really what most people are after when looking for an American made ice cream maker.
Country Freezer
Country Freezer is an ice cream maker manufacturer that markets itself as an Amish ice cream maker manufacturer. So, as you can imagine, these products are aimed at those looking for an old-fashioned ice cream maker.
The company does offer a wide range of ice cream makers, and this includes a couple of electrical ones too. However, the company’s electric ice cream makers are more expensive than your average ice cream maker. They also have an old-fashioned aesthetic to them. Ice Cream Machines that Are Commonly Mistaken as Being American Made
As I was finding companies for this article, I came across one that I initially mistook as being an American manufacturer. However, upon closer inspection, this does not seem to be the case. Here’s what I found.
White Mountain
White Mountain dates back to 1853 when it began selling simple hand-crank ice cream makers. These days the company manufactures both hand crank ice cream makers as well as electrical ones.
The company is based in America and it uses American wood, and this led me to believe that the company is an American manufacturer. However, this does not seem to be the case.
According to the information I could find, while some of the components are manufactured in the US, most of the manufacturing and all of the assembly takes place in China.
I also came across a handful of comments on an Amazon question regarding the manufacturing location of White Mountain. Most of the comments stated that White Mountain’s products are manufactured in China. Whilst normally I’d recommend taking online comments with a pinch of salt, these comments seem to have some truth to them.
