Which Brands Offer Bathroom Faucets Made in the USA?

After doing some research, I found 4 brands that offer bathroom faucets made in the USA. The companies are Phylrich, Waterstone Faucets, Brizo, and Moen.

American-Made Bathroom Faucets (What My Research Turned Up)

Let’s look into these companies a little more and get some information about their faucets made in the USA.

Phylrich

Phylrich faucets is an American company founded in California in 1901. It manufactures high-quality bath and kitchen faucets at its factory in Contamesa, California. Its faucets are truly made in the USA, from the design to the engineering, to the customer support, and everything else. Here are some Phylrich faucets made in the USA:

Waterstone Faucets

Waterstone is an American faucet company founded in 1999 that manufactures bath and kitchen faucets with great attention to detail. All the company’s faucets are manufactured at its factory in Southern California, and the company takes great pride in that. Its official website clearly states that it is the “only American-made faucet in the kitchen industry”. Although Waterstone originally focused on kitchen faucets, its first collection of bathroom faucets came out in 2021, the Argonaut, and they are also made in the USA.

Brizo

Brizo is an American faucet company that manufactures high-end faucets with meticulously handcrafted, distinctive designs. Some of their designs result from a collaboration between the brand and famous fashion designers. Many people believe that Brizo produces its faucets in the United States, which was true until it recently moved its manufacturing to China. Now, only a few faucets from the brand’s old collection are entirely made in the USA at their plant in Jackson, Tennessee. However, most of its faucets are now made at the firm’s factory in Panyu, China.

Here are some Brizo bathroom faucets made in the USA:

Moen

Moen is an American faucet company known for its reliability. Although its faucets are assembled in the USA, the company gets its parts from Malaysia, India, Hungary, and China.

For example, its ceramic disks are made in Malaysia, while its ceramic mixing cartridge comes from Hungary. Moen still operates 3 plants in the United States, 2 in North Carolina and one in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania. One source claims that the faucets made in Asia are of lower quality than those still made in the USA. It’s difficult to identify specifically which models are made in the USA, but it seems like it might be the higher-end models.

Chicago Faucets

Chicago Faucets is an American faucet company founded in 1901 in Chicago, USA. Although it’s an American company that assembles its products in the USA, many parts are foreign. For example, the brass parts it uses originate from Lota International, a company based in China. On the other hand, the zinc castings are made by Tonpan Enterprises Corporation, a company with factories in Taiwan and China, while the brass castings come from Sweden. So, you can see that faucets by Chicago Faucets are not entirely made in the USA.

Jaclo

Jaclo is an American faucet company based in New Jersey that was founded in 1901. Its faucets are manufactured in 2 locations in China: Sedal Technical Ceramics and Sedal Kaiping. Although the company claims to do its own machining, it only does very minor finishing to faucets that are made by other companies in Asia.

Delta Faucets

Delta Faucets is an American company that is owned by the Masco Corporation, one of the largest faucet companies in the world. Founded in 1929, it is now one of the best-selling faucet companies in the USA.

The company’s faucets are produced by contract manufacturers in China. Although it still produces some faucets at its facility in Jacksonville, the parts used to make them are foreign. The company used to manufacture its faucets at its Chickasha, Oklahoma plant before laying off 600 workers and moving its operations to Panyu, China, in the same plant many Brizo faucets are made. Also, some of the parts they use come from Mexico.

Pfister

Pfister is an innovative American company part of Spectrum Brands that produces mid-range faucets. Although its products are designed in California, they are made in countless factories in China and Korea. Some Pfister faucets used to be made in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, but that no longer seems to be the case.

Kohler

Kohler is an American, family-owned company that’s been around since 1873. With over 200 faucets in its catalog, it’s one of the largest manufacturers of plumbing products in the world. Although the company still has 12 factories in the United States, most of the faucets it sells in the region are assembled at its plant in Sheridan, Arkansas, with parts from China and India.

The company has 3 faucet factories in China, one in India, and an assembly plant in Mexico. For example, Kohler’s bath and kitchen faucets are produced at Beijing Kohler Ltd. On the other hand, the company’s high-quality faucets are manufactured at Nanchang Kohler Co Ltd., also in China.

The firm’s hands-free faucets are made at Shanghai Kohler Electronics LTD. Kohler also has a plant in Jhagadia, India, where most of the South Asian market faucets are produced. However, their teams also produce faucets for the American market. At the Kohler plant in Monterrey, Mexico, staff assemble faucets made from components that come from their Asian factories.

American Standard

American Standard is an American company founded in Pittsburg in 1899. Just by the name, you can tell that it once was a proud American faucet manufacturer, but that is no longer the case. Today, American Standard faucets are assembled in Mexico with parts from Asian factories.

The company has 4 factories in China, but its parts come from reliable sanitary suppliers in many places around the world, such as Egypt, Belgium, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

  1. Thanks! Your post was informative and helpful. This helped me on eliminating some manufacturers from buy list. It’s a crying shame we’re doing business with the CCP. America First.
