Most people have a favorite perfume or a signature fragrance. However, what most people don’t know, is where their perfume was made. Most perfumes are made in France. But, are there any perfumes made in the USA? Well, that’s what I’ll be looking at in this article.
It is worth mentioning before diving into the article, there are a lot of American perfume companies out there. However, very few of them actually manufacture their perfumes in the USA.
Which Brands Offer Perfume Made in the USA? (The Short Answer)
After an extensive search, I found 4 companies that offer American made perfume. They are D.S. & Durga, Annie Oakley Perfumery, Forager Botanicals, and Tsi-La Organics.
American Made Perfume (Here’s What I Found)
Now that we know which companies offer American made perfume, let’s take a closer look at each one in more detail.
D.S. & Durga
Founded by husband and wife David and Kavi in 2008, D.S. & Durga is a company that offers a variety of unique scents for people with all tastes. It has proven to be a very popular company, and has even had articles written about it by companies like Vogue.
According to the company’s FAQ page, its fragrances are produced at a facility in Brooklyn, New York. Also, if you take a look at the menu at the top of the website, there’s an icon that says ‘Made in NYC’. So, if you buy from D.S. & Durga, then you will receive a perfume that was manufactured in the USA.

Annie Oakley Perfumery
Annie Oakley Perfumery was established in 1980. It is a small American perfumery with a lot to offer. Its products have proven to be very popular with people of all ages throughout the US. In fact, the company has even won a Good Housekeeping award.
Annie Oakley Perfumery operates a facility in Ligonier, Indiana. It is at this location that the company manufactures its various lines of perfume. It is also possible to visit the facility in person to see how things operate.

Forager Botanicals
Forager Botanicals is a Brooklyn-based natural fragrance company that focuses on producing quality plant-based perfumes for American consumers. Unfortunately, the company doesn’t ship overseas, so if you are outside of the US, you won’t be able to order from Forager Botanicals.
As mentioned, the company is based in Brooklyn, New York. It is here that it conducts its manufacturing. Everything from its design to its shipping is done from within the US.

Tsi-La Organics
According to Tsi-La Organics’ website, its scents are grown, not manufactured. Its fragrances are produced by using all organic, locally sourced materials. The company doesn’t use harsh chemicals to produce its lines of perfumes. They are all 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and organically made.
The company is located in Pipersville, Pennsylvania. While its fragrances themselves are produced at this location, it doesn’t clearly state where its bottles are produced. I could find no overseas facilities associated with Tsi-La Organics so all signs point to its bottles being made in the USA. However, I can’t say that with 100% certainty.
At the time of writing this article, the company is working on building a sample page on its website. When it’s finished, this page will give customers the ability to purchase small samples of Tsi-La Organics’ perfumes to find the perfect fragrance suited to their tastes.
