Leaf Blowers Made in Germany (What I Found)

Updated on:

Leaf blowers make maintaining your garden much easier. There are lots of leaf blower companies out there however, lots of them rely on China for manufacturing purposes. In this article, I’ll be finding out if there are any leaf blowers that are manufactured in Germany.

Which Companies Sell Leaf Blowers Made in Germany? (The Short Answer)

After doing some digging around, I wasn’t able to find a single company that manufactures leaf blowers in Germany. If there are any readers out there who know of any then please let me know in the comment section below.

Leaf Blowers that Are Commonly Mistaken as Being Made in Germany

As I was researching this article, one brand kept popping up as a German manufacturer. However, upon closer inspection, this didn’t seem to be the case. Here’s what I found.

Schröder (USA)

I found two German based companies named Schröder which initially made things a little tricky. One Schröder company produces screwdrivers and various non-electrical tools while the Schröder that I’ll be talking about manufactures leaf blowers.

From what I was able to find, the company manufactures a lot of its components in China. The website uses wording like “manufactured by German experts” and “Designed by German manufacturers” which initially made me think that the bulk of the company’s manufacturing takes place in Germany.

While the company headquarters is located in Germany and it seems to produce at least some products in Germany, a lot of production is carried out by Yuzhoukee Power Equipment.

I couldn’t find a website for Yuzhoukee Power Equipment, but I was able to find out that the company works in China. This company seems to be responsible for producing Schröder’s engines.

So while it is true that the company does at least some of its manufacturing in Germany, the core components seem to come from China.

Most of the information that I was able to find came from Amazon users who had purchased Schröder lead blowers and decided to share their findings. For those who wanted to have a look at Schröder’s products for themselves, here’s a link to the company’s product page.
