Not everybody needs to invest in insoles, but for those who do, it is important that they are comfortable and well-made. With many companies opting to manufacture overseas, it is becoming harder to find locally-made products. But is this the same for insoles? Well, in this article, I’ll be looking for insoles made in the USA.

Companies That Sell Shoe Insoles Made in the USA? (The Short Answer)

After plenty of research, I was able to find 5 companies that offer American made shoe insoles. They are Impacto, Ener-Gel Insole, URthotics, Orthos, and Choice Alpaca Products.

American Made Insoles (Check These Out)

Let’s take a look at each of the American insole manufacturers in more detail.

Impacto

Impacto is a Canadian founded company that offers various protective products such as knee and body protective gear. It also manufactures protective gear for feet, this includes multiple lines of shoe insoles.

Not all of Impacto’s products are American made, but those that are made in the USA are clearly labeled with a little ‘Made in USA’ note in the product description. I couldn’t find out where exactly its American facility is located, just that some of its products are American made.

If anyone has any more information regarding the company’s specific locations then let us know via the comment section below.

After going through a lot of Impacto’s insoles, it looks like only one line is produced in the USA. That is the Anti-Fatigue Memory Foam Insoles.

Ener-Gel Insole

Ener-Gel Insole is a family-owned business located in Western Pennsylvania. It has been in the insole business for more than 30 years. Over the company’s tenure, it has focused solely on offering some of the highest quality insoles on the American market.

Something that sets this company apart from many others out there is the fact that it gets as much of its materials as possible from companies located within the US. So, not only are its insoles American made, but the materials used to make them are also mostly sourced from within the US.

URthotics

URthotics is a proud American company that offers custom-made insoles specially tailored to your needs. The company is based in Huston, Texas. This is where its headquarters is located and where its manufacturing plant is located.

URthotics works by sending you a foot mold impression kit. You use this kit to create a perfect mold for your feet. Then, it’s as simple as sending it back to URthotics’ headquarters, and within just a few weeks, you’ll receive insoles that are designed perfectly for your feet.

The company offers three main types of insoles. They are as follows.

Choice Alpaca Products

Choice Alpaca Products offers a wide array of products, from hats and gloves to ornaments and of course, insoles. As you have probably gathered by the name, the company is centered around Alpacas. It uses alpaca fiber to produce most of its products.

Alpaca fiber is known to be a warm and cozy material while also being cool during the summer. The company’s insoles are a great choice for those who like to be environmentally friendly as each product is made using sustainable methods.

All of its alpaca fiber comes from alpacas within the USA. So, not only are its products American made, but its materials are sourced from within the US too.
