Approximately 87% of British homes have a garden. With so many people owning a garden, the demand for garden furniture in the UK is very high. But are there any companies that manufacture garden furniture in the UK? That’s what I’ll be looking at in this article.
Are There Any Brands That Make Garden Furniture in the UK? (The Short Answer)
After doing some research I was able to find two companies that definitely manufacture their garden furniture in the UK. They are Riverco and Midland Garden Furniture.
UK Made Garden Furniture (I Found These Companies)

Riverco
Riverco was founded in 2004. It is an award-winning garden furniture company that designs and manufactures its products by hand in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Riverco’s products are comfortable, durable, and built to last.
Riverco is a small family-run business that works using sustainable business practices. The company uses only the highest quality redwood from sustainable forests. Each of Riverco’s products is made at its crafting center located in the Staffordshire Moorlands, this dramatically reduces the company’s carbon footprint as it doesn’t require any goods to be transported from overseas.
As for the company’s garden furniture, Riverco has three outdoor furniture ranges. On top of that, the company sells individual furniture pieces, garden accessories, and garden planters. Midland Garden Furniture has always made its products in the UK. It manufactures its products at its facility located at Radford Rise, Stafford, England. Most of Midland’s Garden Furniture’s products are handmade. Each product is built using high-quality materials and each furniture set can be assembled in just 15 minutes.
As for its products, Midland Garden Furniture manufactures multiple lines of furniture sets. Its garden furniture sets are as follows.

I came across a brand that might manufacture garden furniture in the UK. However, I wasn’t able to find enough evidence to put it on the list above. Here’s what I found.
Bramblecrest
Bramblecrest was founded in the year 2000. The company is made up of more than 50 members of staff and it is based in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
As for its manufacturing, I wasn’t able to find anything on the company’s website that clearly states where its products are manufactured. However, I found another site that states that Bramblecrest manufactures its products in a WW1 aircraft hanger located just east of Stroud.
I wasn’t able to find any concrete proof of the company manufacturing products in a WW1 hangar in Strout, so I’ve put it on this list instead. If anyone out there has any more information then comment below as we like to keep our articles up to date.

Garden Furniture That is Commonly Mistaken as Being Made in the UK
As I was doing the research for this article I came across one brand that people seem to mistake as being a British manufacturer. Here’s what I found.
Alexander-Rose
I want to start this entry off by stating that this misinformation does not come from the actual company. Alexander-Rose is very clear and open about its manufacturing locations. The misinformation seems to be coming from third-party sources.
Alexander-Rose manufactures its products in facilities located in Cebu, Philippines, and in Bolivia. From what I understand, people are mistaking this company as being a British manufacturer due to a handful of comments by customers on online store sites like eBay.
