Beach bags are great for more than just seaside getaways. They can usually take a fair amount of weight and they tend to last a long time. In this article, I’ll be taking a look at some of the companies that offer beach bags made in the USA.

Which Brands Sell Beach Bags in the USA? (The Short Answer)
After an extensive search, I found 5 companies that offer American made beach bags. They are Unionwear, Sun in Comfort, Nick Kuchar, Frost River, and Steele Canvas.
Beach Bags Made in America (I Did Lots of Digging)
Now that we know which companies offer American made beach bags, let’s look at each one in more detail.
Unionwear
Unionwear was founded in 1992. It is a company that offers fashion accessories, workwear, and safety gear. Over the years, it has expanded across the US to become a very well-known and reliable fashion brand.
The company’s primary aim is to bring manufacturing back to the US. Unionware operates one facility in Newark, New Jersey, which is its main location. It also operates facilities in New York and Pennsylvania with aspirations of spreading to more areas across the US.
Unionwear’s Newark facility occupies 70,000 square feet and it is where 175 employees work hard to produce its various lines of clothing and accessories.
Unionware offers a handful of bags that are designed for days out to the beach. They are as follows.

Sun in Comfort
Sun in Comfort is a company that focuses on products for the beach and water. It is unclear whether the company manufactures all of its products itself as it seems to insinuate that it works with a variety of manufacturers.
That said, I found a product on the company’s website that belongs in this article. It is called the Bohemian Back Chair Bag. While it doesn’t state exactly where it is made, it does clearly state that it is made in the USA. Nick Kuchar
Nick Kuchar is an artist and creator. He designs and produces a wide range of products from t-shirts and towels to wall art and bags. His artistic designs are very popular due to their happy and upbeat nature.
I wasn’t able to confirm whether all of Nick Kuchar’s products are American made, but the company does offer one beach bag that is made in the USA. There aren’t any details explaining where exactly its line of bags is produced, but they are made in the USA.

Frost River
Frost River is a company that has been manufacturing quality handmade goods in the US for many years. Its specialty is soft goods for the American people. While it isn’t a particularly large company, it has proven to be very popular among those wanting to buy locally-made products that can last a lifetime.
Frost River’s manufacturing facility is in Duluth, Minnesota. Not only are its products made here, but it also runs a coffee shop on-site for people to stop and take a look at the inner workings of the company itself.
At the time of writing this article, Frost Rivers has one line of beach bags. It is called the Brighton Beach Tote.
Steele Canvas
Steele Canvas is a canvas expert. The company was founded in 1921 making it the oldest company on this list. It is a very well-known company that works using quality canvas to produce a plethora of products.
I could not confirm whether or not all of the company’s manufacturing takes place in the US, but from what I could find, it looks like most of it takes place within North America. Its main base of operations is in Washington, Massachusetts. It is here that the company operates a 72,500-square-foot production center.

American Made Beach Bags That Are Not Really American Made
One company kept popping up during my search for American made beach bags. However, despite clearly stating on its official website that it manufactures its products overseas, some people seem to confuse this company as an American manufacturer. Here’s what I found.
America & Beyond
America & Beyond is a very well-known American bag company. I found a handful of websites that state America & Beyond manufactures its products within the USA. However, this isn’t the case.
America & Beyond is very open about its manufacturing location. It clearly states on the company’s about us page that its products are handcrafted at the company’s facilities in India.
A fair few third-party sources have the company down as an American manufacturer. I am unsure why this is the case as America & Beyond’s manufacturing location information is readily available.
