With so many companies opting to move manufacturing overseas a bit to reduce costs and increase production, it is becoming increasingly difficult finding products that aren’t made in countries like Taiwan and China. In this article, I’ll be looking for bandsaws made in the USA.
USA Made Bandsaws – Do Any Companies Sell Them? (The Short Answer)
After lots of research, I was able to find 5 companies that produce them. They are Dake Corp, Ellis Mfg, Wellsaw, Roll-In Saw, and Falberg Saw Company.
American Made Bandsaws (Here’s What I Found)
Now that we know which companies offer bandsaws made in the USA let’s look at each one in a little more detail.
Dake Corp
Dake Corp is an American industrial tool manufacturer that was founded in 1887 making it one of the oldest companies on this list. It offers a wide array of industrial-grade machinery, from hydraulic presses and tube benders to belt grinders and bandsaws.
According to Dake Corp’s about us section on its website, it manufactures the majority of its products at a facility located in Grand Haven, Michigan. While not all of Dake Corp’s products are American-made, it clearly states which of its products are made in the USA.
As for its American-made bandsaws, after reading through each product description, it looks like only one of its bandsaws is made in America. That is the Work-A-Matic Bandsaw SXC. If you want to see all of Dake Corp’s bandsaws, then here’s a link to them. Just keep in mind that I can’t guarantee that they are American-made except for the one mentioned above.
Ellis Mfg
Ellis Mfg is a family-owned and operated business that was founded by D.R. Ellis in 1950. The company specializes in manufacturing high-quality machinery such as bandsaws, drill presses, and belt grinders.
According to the company’s official website, Ellis Mfg’s bandsaws are manufactured in the USA. However, I couldn’t find out much regarding where its components and materials come from. So keep in mind that Ellis Mfg may rely on overseas production for some of its components.

Wellsaw
Wellsaw is a company that specializes in producing high-quality bandsaws. It has been manufacturing band saws in the USA since it was founded in 1926. It was founded under the name Wells Manufacturing Company, but it has since changed its name to Wellsaw. Wellsaw is a division of Wells Mfg Corp.
As for its manufacturing, Wellsaw is a proud American manufacturer. It produces all of its bandsaws in the USA. Specifically, the company operates a facility in Southwestern Michigan. Roll-In Saw
Roll-In Saw has been going strong since 1940. The company started by producing its patented gravity-fed vertical bandsaw. As the years have gone on, Roll-In Saw has perfected the art of producing high-quality reliable band saws for people all over the US.
There wasn’t too much information out there regarding the company’s manufacturing, other than it only having one location. Roll-In Saw operates a facility in Brook Park, Ohio. This is the only facility linked to the company. Couple that with the fact that all of its sold products are shipped from this facility and it seems pretty safe to say that Roll-In Saw’s band saws are American made.

Falberg Saw Company
Falberg Saw Company is a Colorado-based industrial machinery manufacturer. It’s a fairly small company having less than 25 employees. However, despite its small size, Falberg Saw Company has built up a reputation for producing reliable band saws.
Unfortunately, there was very little information on Falberg Saw Company’s website. But I did find a 5-star review stating that its band saws are made in the USA. I could also only find one location that is tied to the company. It is a facility in Delta, Colorado.
