Almost every American owns a wallet or a purse. It is one of those things that we make sure we have before we go out anywhere. Unfortunately, if you read the tag inside your wallet, chances are, it was made in China or Taiwan. Well, in this article, I’ll be taking a look at companies that manufacture wallets in the USA.
Which Brands Offer Wallets Made in the USA? (The Short Answer)
After an extensive search for wallets made in the USA, I found lots of companies that offer them. Here are 10 of them – Queen City Dry Goods, Origin Maine, Bradley Mountain, Buffalo Billfold Company, Flowfold, SlimFold Wallet, Main Street Forge, North Star Leather, Over Under Clothing, and Beargrass Leather.
American Made Wallets (I Found These Options)
Now that we know which companies offer American made wallets, let’s take a look at each one in more detail.
Queen City Dry Goods
Queen City Dry Goods was founded in 2011. It has grown a lot over the past decade and it now offers products to people in countries all over the world. The company is mainly known for footwear. That said, the company offers a range of fashion accessories, and this includes wallets.
Queen City Dry Goods’ headquarters is located in Williston, Vermont. It is unclear whether all of the company’s products are American made. However, its wallets are clearly labeled with the phrase ‘Made in USA’ in each of the product descriptions.

Origin Maine is a company that manufactures products for martial arts, outdoor adventures, and other physical activities. Its products range from clothing and boots to belts and wallets. All of the company’s products are built to withstand harsh conditions. So, an Origin Maine wallet has the potential to last a very long time.

Bradley Mountain
Bradley Mountain offers bags, clothes, and accessories that are designed to last in some of the most hostile conditions out there. The company was founded in an apartment in Ocean Beach, San Diego in 2012. Since then, it has grown to become a pretty popular company. Despite its quick growth, it remains dedicated to American manufacturing.
I couldn’t find out exactly where the company manufactures its products. However, its headquarters is located in Columbia, Tennessee. You can find out more about its headquarters here.

Buffalo Billfold Company
Buffalo Billfold Company offers American made leather goods for people all over the US. The company was founded in 1972, and it specializes in handmade products. It has picked up a reputation for being a company that offers reliable products that are affordable and locally made.
Buffalo Billfold Company is located in Worthington, Minnesota. From what I understand, it looks like this is where it manufactures most, if not all, of its products. You can read more about the company’s manufacturing here.

Flowfold
Flowfold was established in 2010. The company aimed to make ‘everyday gear that is lighter, stronger, and lasts longer.’ Judging by the company’s customer reviews, it’s safe to say that Flowfold has achieved its goal.

SlimFold Wallet
SlimFold Wallet was founded in San Francisco in 2009. According to the company’s website, it has delivered more than 100,000 wallets to people in over 70 countries worldwide. The company’s trademark SlimFold wallets are up to 3 times thinner and lighter than regular wallets.
The company’s wallets are designed and made in California. It also has at least one other facility in Dothan, Alabama. It may also have more facilities dotted around the US but nothing overseas.

Main Street Forge
Main Street Forge is a company that knows how to produce durable American made leather wallets. It was founded in 2018 and it is already making its presence known in the American wallet market.
All of Main Street Forge’s wallets are American made using American leather. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find out exactly where the company conducts its manufacturing, only that its products are American made.

North Star Leather
North Star Leather has been manufacturing wallets in the USA since 1969. The company produces a range of leather goods such as bags, hats, and wallets, all of which are handcrafted in the USA.
The company is located in Ruby, South Carolina. From what I understand, it looks like this is where North Star Leather’s manufacturing takes place.
At the time of writing this article, North Star Leather had a stock issue which meant increased delivery times. Hopefully, by the time you are reading this, the company will be back to business as usual. Here’s a link to North Star Leather’s wallets.
Over Under Clothing
Over Under Clothing is a company that offers clothing and accessories for people and dogs. While it may seem like an unlikely combination, Over Under Clothing has proven itself to be a very popular business with people all over the US.
According to the company’s Linkedin profile, Over Under Clothing is dedicated to producing all American-grown and sewn products. Also, by reading the product descriptions of its wallets, it clearly states that they are made in the USA.

Beargrass Leather
Beargrass Leather is a custom leather bag producer in Montana. Manufacturing quality leather bags in the US is something that the company takes very seriously. But it doesn’t just manufacture bags; Beargrass Leather also produces quality wallets.
Each of its wallets is handcrafted and expertly designed to give every customer a wallet that will stand the test of time. All of its wallets are made at the company’s workshop in Montana.
