According to the website Nearly Newlywed, Reem Acra’s gowns are exclusively made at her workshop in New York. This is further backed up by her official website, which states that the company is located in Manhattan, New York.

Vera Wang is probably the most well-known company on this list. The company was founded by Vera Wang in 1990. She is internationally renowned for her ability to design and produce decadent and classy wedding dresses, jewelry, eyewear, and much more.
According to the company’s website, Vera Wang employs more than 200 people who manufacture the majority of the company’s bridal collection in workrooms across the US. It is important to note that it says ‘most’ and not all. Because of this, I’d recommend reaching out to the company and enquiring to ensure that the dress you like is one that was made in the USA.

Honorable Mention
I came across one company that does produce at least some wedding dresses in the US. However, a lot of its production takes place in facilities dotted around Europe. Here’s what I found.
Oscar De La Renta
Oscar De La Renta is an internationally renowned designer who’s produced dresses and gowns for numerous celebrities over the years. His dresses are very highly sought after and people are always more than willing to pay top dollar for an Oscar De La Renta dress.
There are a few sources that state that some of Oscar De La Renta’s dresses are produced in the USA. There are also a handful of sources stating that his dresses are manufactured all over Europe.
For those wanting to take a look at some of Oscar De La Renta’s wedding dresses, here’s a link to his entire collection. Just keep in mind that most of its production isn’t carried out in the USA.
A Company That Gets Mistaken For Being An American Manufacturer
One company kept popping up as an affordable American made wedding dress manufacturer. At first glance, this seemed to be the case. However, after digging a little deeper, it turns out that its dresses are mainly made in China. Here’s what I found.
Cocomelody
Cocomelody was founded in 2001. The company specializes in producing quality wedding dresses at a fraction of the cost of most other companies out there. After taking a look at the website, the company has received countless glowing reviews for its wedding dresses and gowns.
One of Cocomelody’s pages is dedicated to ‘cheap American made wedding dresses.’ You can see that here. However, according to the company’s FAQ page, its dresses and samples are designed in the USA but they are actually produced at a workshop in China.
So, if you decide to purchase a wedding dress from Cocomelody then it looks like you’ll be receiving a dress that was made in China.
