Sitting out on the patio in the evening and unwinding is something that most people enjoy. That said, it’s nice to have a heater for those days when it’s not particularly warm outside. In this article, I’ll be looking at companies that offer American-made patio heaters.
Do Any Brands Sell USA Made Patio Heaters? (The Short Answer)
After an extensive search for American patio heater manufacturers, I found 6 companies that produce them. They are NDUSTRIA, SunPak, Schwank, SunGlo, Infratech, and Calcana.
Patio Heaters Made in the USA (Here’s What I Found)
Now that we know which companies offer American-made patio heaters let’s look at each company in a little more detail.
NDUSTRIA
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find an official website for NDUSTRIA. However, the information I have for this one comes from some of the most reliable patio websites out there, such as Patio Fever.
While there wasn’t all that much information about the company’s inner workings, NDUSTRIA does manufacture most if not all of its patio heaters in the USA. The site Patio Fever is an official seller for NDUSTIRA and it states several times on its website that NDUSTIRA’s product range is American-made.
Aside from them being American-made, I couldn’t find out any more information about the company’s specific manufacturing location. If there are any readers out there who can provide us with more info as to the company’s production locations then let us know via the comment section below.

SunPak
SunPak was founded in 1966. The company offers every type of patio heater you can imagine. From free-standing units to ceiling heat lamps and entire mounting kits, if it’s a patio heater, then SunPak probably has it.
Since its inception, SunPak has been manufacturing all of its patio heaters in the USA. The company operates facilities in South California. Its products are produced by a company called Infrared Dynamics. For those wanting to find out more about SunPak’s manufacturing process, check this out.
So, if you buy from SunPak then you are guaranteed to receive an American-made patio heater. Here are a few of the company’s best-selling patio heaters for those wanting to take a closer look.

As for its manufacturing, Not all of Schwank’s manufacturing is carried out in the USA. Some of its production happens at facilities in Canada. While I’m sure that most consumers are ok with this, for those who want a 100% American-made patio heater, I’d recommend reaching out to the company directly and finding out which of its products are American-made.

SunGlo
SunGlo was founded sometime in 1961. With more than 60 years of experience, SunGlo is a widely recognized outdoor heating brand, having sold countless products to customers all over the US and Canada.
Unfortunately, much like the first entry on this list, it doesn’t look like SunGlo has an official website. So, all of the information for this company comes from several official sales partners of SunGlo.
SunGlo’s products are made by the same company that produces SunPak’s patio heaters, Infrared Dynamics. The manufacturing takes place at a facility in Yorba Linda, California. From what I understand, it looks like this is where all of SunGlo’s products are produced.

Infratech is a major player in the world of outdoor heating appliances. It has sold countless products to people all over the USA. It has been producing heaters in the USA for more than 50 years.
According to its website, it focuses on producing eco-friendly infrared heaters for Americans to enjoy. Not only are its products eco-friendly, but they are also all manufactured in the USA. Calcana
Finishing off this list we have Calcana. Calcana offers a wide array of heaters from garage heaters and commercial-grade heaters to harsh environment heaters and, of course, patio heaters.
The company has two main locations, one in the US and another in Canada. So while not all of its manufacturing is carried out in the USA, it does produce at least half of its products in the US.
Usually, it would be difficult to find out which products are made in the USA and which are Canadian-made. Fortunately, it clearly states which products are made where on the trusted patio sales site Patio Fever.
