There are literally millions of avid gardeners across the USA. With there being so many gardeners, greenhouses are always in high demand. But with so many companies opting to conduct their manufacturing overseas to reduce costs, it can be difficult finding products made outside of countries like China. In this article, I’ll be finding out if any companies still produce greenhouses in the USA.
Do Any Manufacturers Sell USA Made Greenhouses? (The Short Answer)
After an extensive search for American greenhouse manufacturers, I found 5 companies that offer them. They are Texas Greenhouse, Sturdi-Built, Advance Greenhouses, American Made Greenhouses, and Sunshine Garden House.

Now that we know which companies offer greenhouses made in America let’s take a closer look at each one.
Texas Greenhouse
As you have probably guessed from its name, Texas Greenhouse is based in Texas. It has been in the greenhouse business since 1948 and from what I understand, it looks like the company manufactures its greenhouses in the USA.
The company’s secondary title on its website is the phrase ‘American Made Since 1948’; this is a pretty clear statement. Also, when looking at the company’s location page, it only has one location. Its facility is located in Fort Worth, Texas.
As for its products, Texas Greenhouse has a lot to offer. Something that sets the company apart from some of its competitors is the fact that it never uses staged photos of its products. Each photo on its website is of the actual product in use. The company does this so that customers know exactly what they are getting.

Sturdi-Built
Sturdi-Built is a proud American company that produces high-quality, locally-made greenhouses for everyday Americans. Not only does it manufacture its greenhouses in the USA, but the company also harvests its wood from locally sourced sustainable sources. Specifically, its wood comes from California and Southern Oregon.
Sturdi-Built has an entire page on its website detailing its manufacturing locations and methods. The folks behind the company don’t like the fact that some companies sell ‘made in America’ products that are actually primarily made overseas before being shipped to the US for the final touches.
All of Sturdi-Build’s production seems to be carried out in the USA. So, if you buy from Sturdi-Built then you can be certain that you’ll receive an American-made greenhouse. Here are a few of its greenhouse styles for you to check out.
Advance Greenhouses
Advance Greenhouses is an American company based in Rayville, Louisiana. According to the company’s homepage, it has been selling and installing greenhouses since 1993. The company prides itself in its products and it offers everything from small and affordable greenhouses to larger commercial-sized ones.
While I wasn’t able to find out where all of its products are made, at least some of its greenhouse products are made in the USA. That said, it is a little unclear when it comes to some of its greenhouse models. While some are clearly labeled as made in the USA, others don’t seem to have any manufacturing information on them. With a name like American Made Greenhouses, it will come as no surprise to learn that it is a greenhouse manufacturer that produces its products in the USA! The company has been in the greenhouse business for several decades. It prides itself on offering quality American-made greenhouses for the average consumer.
American Made Greenhouses is a part of the MMM company. The company as a whole offers a wide array of products. From chicken coops and grills to keychains and of course, greenhouses. As far as I could see, it looks like the company conducts its manufacturing within the USA as you can see in the image below.
If you are interested in purchasing one of the company’s greenhouses then you’ll need to get in touch with them and they will give you a quote. Sunshine Garden House
Sunshine Garden House is a greenhouse manufacturer based in the Pacific Northwest in Longview, Washington. The company has been producing its greenhouses in the USA for more than 20 years and it shows no signs of changing this any time soon.
Each of Sunshine Garden House’s greenhouses is manufactured at its facility in Longview. So, if you buy from Sunshine Gardenhouse, then you are guaranteed to receive an American-made greenhouse.
Each of its greenhouses is easy to assemble, they are wind tested up to 85 MPH and they feature a 45-degree pitch so snow won’t weigh down your greenhouse during rough weather.
