After an extensive search for American made bath mats, I found 2 companies that produce them. They are Colonial Mills and 1888 Mills.

Colonial Mills was founded in 1977 in Rhode Island. The company has more than 100 employees, most of which are from East Providence. Colonial Mills manufactures various products such as woven baskets and bath rugs.
Colonial Mills operates a manufacturing facility in Rumford, Rhode Island. It looks like this is where most if not all of its production takes place. According to the company’s website, its products are proudly made to order in the USA.

However, the company marks its American made products very clearly so it’s easy to separate its locally-made products from its imported ones. Also, its American made products are made using locally sourced materials making them a good choice for those wanting to buy something eco-friendly.

I came across one company that popped up a few times during my research for this article as an American bath mat manufacturer. However, while the company does manufacture the vast majority of its products in the USA, it doesn’t seem to offer any bath mats at the minute. Here’s what I found.
Towels By Gus
Towels By Gus is a company that specializes in producing bathroom towels and accessories. It manufactures most of its products in the USA. Specifically, it conducts its manufacturing at a facility in San Francisco, California.
That said, I couldn’t find any sign of the company producing bath bats despite it being mentioned on several third-party websites as being a company that offers American made bath mats. There is a section on its website for bath mats, but it just returns a page not found error when you click on it.
By searching for bath mats, you can find a few options. However, they are all out of stock. It is unclear whether the company will be producing more bath mats in the future.
