Not every trampoline is created equal. Some companies opt to conduct manufacturing overseas. Not only is this bad for the environment and local economy, but it can also have a negative impact on product quality. In this article, I’ll be finding out if any companies manufacture trampolines in the USA.
Do Any Companies Sell Trampolines Made in the USA? (The Short Answer)
After an extensive search for American made trampolines, I found 3 companies that offer them. They are All American, Skywalker Trampolines, and Acon.
American Made Trampolines (What My Research Turned Up)
Now that we know which companies offer trampolines made in the USA Let’s look at each one in more detail.
I’m not sure whether or not the company has an official website or if the website I found is its official website. Aside from being a company that manufactures its trampolines in the USA, I couldn’t find a whole lot of information about it. But here’s what I found.
All American is an American brand that offers a variety of quality trampolines of various sizes. I came across this company on a website called Trampoline Parts And Supply. As you can tell by its name, it focuses solely on selling trampolines. There’s a section on its website dedicated to American-made trampolines, that’s where I found All American.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find out the town/city where All American manufactures its trampolines. However, it clearly states more than once on each product page that All American’s trampolines are American-made as you can see in the image below.
Here are a few of All American’s trampolines for those wanting to take a look for themselves.
Skywalker Trampolines is a company that’s been providing safe trampolines for American consumers since 2005. The founders saw a rise in trampoline-related injuries and wanted to do something to help reduce the risk of people getting hurt by trampolines.
Over the years, Skywalker Trampolines has expanded and its products are now sold across 27 retail partners throughout the USA. The company is also looking to start selling its products in Canada.
As for its manufacturing, Skywalker Trampolines operates a facility in Birmingham City, Utah. I’m unsure whether or not the company has any other facilities as there isn’t really much more information regarding its various manufacturing centers. But according to at least one Amazon listing on Skywalker Trampolines’ official store, its trampolines are made in the USA with domestic and imported parts.
As for the frame, the frame is manufactured entirely in the USA with American steel.
So, I feel like it’s safe to say that Skywalker Trampolines manufactures its trampolines in the USA. Here’s a link to Skywalker Trampolines’ product page.
Unlike the other entries on this list, Acon isn’t actually an American-founded company. It was founded in Finland in 1996 although it wasn’t until 2003 that the company released its first trampoline.
The reason why Acon has made it onto this list is that it manufactures some of its trampolines in the USA. While its main manufacturing facility is located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of 2014 the company expanded and now produces some of its trampolines in the USA.
Acon offers trampolines both with and without nets. It had circular trampolines and rectangular trampolines, it even offers trampolines for adults. Needless to say, the company has plenty of options when it comes to trampolines!
After some more digging, I found that at least two of Acon’s trampolines are manufactured in the USA. They are as follows.
Trampolines That Are Often Mistaken as Being Made in the USA
I came across one company listed on several third-party websites as an American manufacturer. However, upon closer inspection, it turns out that the company manufactures its trampolines in China. Here’s what I found.
SkyBound USA is a well-known company that offers quality trampolines for families all over the USA. The company was founded in 2009 and its headquarters is located in Orange, California. However, this isn’t where it manufactures its products.
It is important to note that the misinformation surrounding SkyBound USA’s manufacturing isn’t coming from the company itself, but from third-party sites that aren’t affiliated with SkyBound USA.
While the company designs its products at a facility in Southern California, its trampolines are actually manufactured in China. I was able to get this information from SkyBound USA’s FAQ page on its website.
That said, at the time of writing this article, SkyBound USA seemed to be having some technical issues making it impossible to activate a dropdown box and read the text on its FAQ page.
So, the image below was sourced by inspecting the webpage’s code and finding the information that way. While the image below doesn’t look pretty, it is the same content that is on the company’s official FAQ section, just accessed in a different way.
