However, with many companies shifting production overseas, it begs the question – are there still any snowboard manufacturers in the USA? I’ve done the research to find out.
Do Any Brands Sell Snowboards Made in the USA (The Short Answer)?
After doing some research, I found 17 brands that produce American-made snowboards – Lib Tech, Never Summer, Venture Snowboards, Donek, Signal Snowboards, Gilson Snow, TahoeLab, Marhar Snowboards, Winterstick, MTN Local Snowboards, Notice Snowboards, Academy Snowboards, Meier, Powderjets, GNU Snowboards, Roxy, and Igneous.

Lib Tech
Lib Tech is an American snowboarding company founded by Mike Olson in the mid-1980s in the United States. The company prides itself on being very artist-driven and being at the forefront of technology and design.

I found a couple of companies that didn’t quite make it onto the list above for a couple of different reasons. Here’s what I found.
Unity Snowboards
Unity Snowboards is an American snowboard manufacturer founded in 1995 in Colorado. The company’s aim is to produce durable, high-quality snowboards by trying to push the design in a creative way.
Unity Snowboards are hand-built at the company’s factory in Summit County, Colorado, as you can see below.
The company has stopped producing boards after 20 years, as is stated on its official website homepage. At the time of this writing, Unity Snowboards only has one listed snowboard on its website. It’s the 180 Carbon Dominion Splitboard.
SnoPlanks
SnoPlanks is an American snowboard company founded in a garage in Bend, Oregon in 2012. The company produces high-quality snowboards from a small craft shop.
SnoPlanks handcrafts its snowboards at its manufacturing facility in Bend, Oregon, as you can see below.
To be more precise, SnoPlanks’ manufacturing facility is located at 63015 Layton Ave, Bend, OR 97701, United States.
At the time of this writing, all of SnoPlanks’ snowboards offered on its website are sold out. It’s not clear if the company went out of business or whether they will restock snowboards in the future. If you’d like to find out more, I’d recommend contacting the company. Smokin Snowboards
Smokin Snowboards is an American snowboard manufacturer founded in 1995 in Lake Tahoe, Michigan. The company’s handcrafted boards have won numerous awards.
