Garden Hose Made in the USA – What’s Out There? (The Short Answer)
After an extensive search for American made garden hoses I found 3 companies that offer them. They are Flexon, Briggs & Stratton, and Bernini Fountains.
American Made Garden Hose (A List of 3 Manufacturers)
Now that we know which brands produce American-made garden hoses, let’s look at each one in a little more detail.
Flexon
Flexon was founded in 1956. It is a family-owned business that offers high-quality hoses for homeowners and contractors. Whether you are a professional landscaper or an avid gardener, Flexon has a hose that suits everyone.
According to the company’s official site, Flexon manufactures most of its products on American soil. It operates manufacturing facilities in Newark, New Jersey, and Anderson, South Carolina.
On top of being an American manufacturer, Flexon also works hard to be as environmentally friendly as possible. It uses recyclable materials whenever possible to manufacture its products. So, if you are a fan of eco-friendly American-made products then Flexon may be the perfect company for you.
I’m sure you would have noticed that Flexon manufactures ‘most’ of its products in the USA. This would usually make it tricky to decipher which of its products are American-made. Briggs & Stratton
Briggs & Stratton was founded in 1908 in Milwaukee. It began by producing parts for vehicles, it quickly expanded and today it produces a wide array of products, this includes garden hoses.
Like lots of major companies out there, Briggs & Stratton does conduct some of its manufacturing overseas. However, the company is clear regarding which of its products are American-made making it much easier to find out what was made where.
It should also be noted that the company makes use of both American parts as well as parts from global sources.

Bernini Fountains
Bernini Fountains is an American company that offers various products for your garden. It began as a small garden company in Southern California, but it quickly grew to become what it is today.
As you have probably guessed from the name, Bernini Fountains’ primary focus is garden fountains. However, it also has a fairly extensive selection of garden hoses. While Bernini Fountains does import some of its hoses from overseas, it does manufacture at least one of its hoses in the USA.
Bernini Fountains’ American-made garden hose is the Compact No-Kink Rubber Garden Hose. It may also produce some of its other hose lines in the USA but I couldn’t find enough proof of this so I’ll just stick with the one that’s definitely American-made.
A Garden Hose That Is Often Mistaken as Being Made in the USA
I came across a company that was listed on several third-party sites as being an American manufacturer. However, after taking a closer look, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Here’s what I found.
Bionic Steel
Bionic Steel is a fairly well-known brand. It offers garden hoses that are made out of stainless steel making them corrosion-proof and rust-proof. They have proven to be very popular with consumers all over the USA.
As for its manufacturing, I came across a handful of third-party websites advertising the company as an American manufacturer. But this isn’t the case. It is important to note that the misinformation doesn’t seem to be coming from the company itself but from third-party sources with no affiliation with Bionic Steel.
Bionic Steel’s garden hoses are actually made in China. This information was easy to find so I’m unsure why some sites seem to have it down as an American manufacturer.
