Garden carts are great for lugging logs and tools as well as removing leaves and garden refuse. While they are popular all over the US, are there any companies that offer garden carts made in America? Well, that’s what I’ll be checking out in this article.
USA Made Garden Carts – Are They Still A Thing? (The Short Answer)
After lots of research, I was able to find 3 companies that offer garden carts made in the USA. They are Mighty Max Cart (MMC), Carts Vermont, and Garrett Wade.
Garden Carts Made in the USA (3 Manufacturers That Sell Them)
Now that we know which companies offer garden carts made in the USA let’s look at each one in a little more detail.
Mighty Max Cart
Mighty Max Cart or MMC for short is a well-known company that produces quality garden carts. It was founded in 1994. However, for a while, it manufactured its garden carts overseas. It wasn’t until 2010 that the company transferred its manufacturing from overseas back to the US.
Today, MMC manufactures its garden carts at its company facility in Jacksonville, Texas. The company is very proud of the fact that it now manufactures its products in the USA. And from what I understand, it looks like Mighty Max Cart will continue to produce its garden carts in America for the foreseeable future.
When it comes to carts, the folks at MMC are experts. The company has carts for fishing, for the beach, and of course, gardens. Since moving its production to the US, MMC has received lots of excellent reviews for its product quality. With the company now manufacturing all of its carts in one place, the owners can keep a close eye on production to ensure pure quality.

Carts Vermont
Carts Vermont has been manufacturing garden carts in the USA for more than 30 years. Its carts are built using only the best quality materials to ensure that they are up to the task of lugging heavy objects around all day long.
Carts Vermont offers garden carts in two different sizes, medium and large. So, whether you are a professional gardener or a hobbyist, there’s a size to suit your needs. Each of its carts is built using heavy-duty steel wheels, a strong 11-gauge steel framed dump front, and an extra strong steel axle, so there’s not much that these carts can’t handle.
As for its manufacturing, all of Carts Vermont’s products are manufactured in the USA. The company operates a facility in Vermont. It is at this facility that each of its garden carts is designed, produced, and tested before being sold to happy customers all over the USA and Canada.

Garrett Wade
Garrett Wade was founded in 1975. It is a family-owned business that primarily focuses on hand tools and gardening equipment. This includes garden carts. It is important to note that while Garrett Wade does produce some of its products in the USA, it does also rely on overseas manufacturing for a few of its product lines.
Fortunately, it does manufacture some of its garden carts in the USA. However, I couldn’t find out specifically where it produces them. It does operate a facility in Chico, California and it may produce its products in West Chester, Ohio. The only thing I know for certain is that Garrett Wade manufactures at least one line of garden carts in America. Its American-made garden cart can be found here.
Honorable Mention
I came across one company that manufactures garden carts in the USA. However, they are mainly for towing behind lawnmowers and other ride-on machinery. Here’s what I found.
Brinly
Brinly was founded in 1839. It is a fairly well-known company that offers a variety of gardening carts and equipment. As mentioned above, its carts are primarily tow-behind carts. Because of this, it gets an honorable mention.
As for its manufacturing location, Initially, I couldn’t find all that much on its website. However, after hopping over to its official Amazon store, I found that its carts are proudly made at a facility in Jefferson, Indiana.
Not only was this information in the product description, but it was also in the Q and A section where a company representative confirmed that its products are in fact American-made.
