Food Processors Made in Germany (Here’s What I Found)

Updated on:

Germany is a country that is well known for its high-quality kitchen and household appliances. However, over time, a lot of the larger German-founded electrical appliance brands have moved production to cheaper countries like China. In this article, I’ll be looking at food processors made in Germany.

A Company That Sells Food Processors Made in Germany? (The Short Answer)

I was able to find one company that still manufactures food processors in Germany. That company is KSM / RoyalBrands.

German Made Food Processor? I Found 1 Option

Now that we know which brand manufactures German made food processors, let’s take a look at it in a little more detail.

KSM (RoyalBrands)

I wasn’t able to find all that much about this brand. I came across a product sales page on the RoyalBrands sale site. I believe that the information is accurate since it has come from a well-known and reliable source, but I’ll leave it up to you to decide for yourself.

This KSM food processor is made in Germany, although I really couldn’t find much more information than that, so here’s a link to the product’s sale page for those who are wanting to take a closer look.

Food Processors that Are Commonly Mistaken as Being German Made

As I was looking for German made food processors, I found one company that I initially thought made its food processors in Germany. However, upon closer inspection, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Here’s what I found.

This German-founded company was created in 1921 by Max Braun in Frankfurt. Braun is well known for its electrical products. The company manufactures a wide range of electrical goods from electric razors and toothbrushes to irons and of course, food processors.

I came across a handful of sales pages that labeled Braun food processors as being made in Germany. Whilst this used to be true, it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

Some of the company’s vintage models like the Multipractic Food Processor 4259 were made in Germany. However, that line is no longer being manufactured, so you can only get one of these by purchasing a used one off eBay.

As for Braun’s newer food processors, people seem to be getting confused by the wording on Braun’s sale page. Braun’s food processors are labeled as designed in Germany. Braun’s products are made in various countries all over the world. However, I was unable to find a single reliable source that stated that Braun’s food processors are currently made in Germany.
