That said, the company does offer boots on its site from another company, Rawhide. Rawhide manufactures its products in Canada. Abilene doesn’t seem to have anything to do with Rawhide’s manufacturing, it looks like it just has some sort of selling partnership with them. But these products are clearly labeled as imported products.

As for the products that Abilene manufactures, all of them are made at its US facility. Here’s a link to its category page, and here are a few options for you to check out.

Anderson Bean Boots

If you are in the market for a pair of handmade American cowboy boots then look no further than Anderson Bean Boots. This company was founded in 1989 and it manufactures each of its products by hand at its facility in Mercedes, Texas.

Babione’s Wilson Boots

Babione’s Wilson Boots is another company that offers high-quality handmade American cowboy boots. Located in the mountains of Montana, this company is a small business that offers a wide range of great cowboy boots.

The company was founded by Carl Wilson back in 1945 and it started as a saddle-making business, but not too long after its inception, Carl Wilson turned his hand to manufacturing boots. From that point on, Babione’s Wilson Boots focused entirely on making handmade cowboy boots and its popularity has only increased over time.

While the company does manufacture many of its products in the US, it does use materials from places outside North America. As for its products made from outside the US, I came across an article from a trustworthy site stating that the Tony Lama TLX and the Tony Lama 3R boots are made in Mexico and China. There are also several other sources stating that some of Tony Lama’s boots come from overseas.

Olsen-Stelzer

Olsen-Stelzer has been in the cowboy boot industry since the year 1900. The company is based in Wichita Falls, Texas and all of its boots are handmade in the USA. A pair of Olsen-Stelzer boots are made specifically to the customer’s measurements and tastes ensuring both the perfect fit and look for the customer. Little’s Boot Company

Little’s Boot Company is a small family-owned and operated cowboy boot manufacturer that’s been in the business since 1915. The company is based in San Antonio, Texas and it is a solely US-based operation.

Each of Little’s Boot Company’s cowboy boots are made to order and it takes around 6 months to make each pair of boots. It takes so long due to how many steps are involved during the manufacturing process. Each boot is checked multiple times throughout the build process to ensure that it is built to the highest possible standard.

The company offers several different materials for its boots that aren’t all that common and are all too rare. Its boots can be made out of hide from crocodiles, calves, lizards, and more. Here’s a link to its boot page for those wanting to take a look for themselves.

Double H Boots

Double H Boots was founded in 1955 in Richland, Pennsylvania. Unlike many other companies on this list, Double H Boots doesn’t manufacture all of its footwear in the USA. While a large portion of its manufacturing is carried out at the company’s facility in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, it does outsource some of its production to facilities overseas.

Thankfully, Double H Boots is very clear on its website regarding which of its products are made in the USA. That said, it does clearly state on each of its American-made cowboy boots that its boots are made using globally sourced materials.

Honorable Mention

There was one company that didn’t quite make it onto the list above. This was because it looks like the majority of its manufacturing takes place in China and only a small percentage of its boots are made in America. Here’s what I found.

Frye

Frye is a very popular brand that is recognized by people all over the world and while it used to manufacture all of its products in the US, as the company grew in popularity it started moving some of its production overseas to keep up with demand. These days, only a small percentage of Frye’s cowboy boots are made in America.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find which of its cowboy boots are made in America. For those wanting to find out more, I’d recommend reaching out and contacting Frye for more details.
