Brands that Sell Camping Stoves Made in the USA? (The Short Answer)
This may come as a surprise to some readers, but there are actually a few American-made camping stove companies out there. They are Coleman, MSR, Kni-Co, and Englander.
American-Made Camping Stoves (I Found These Brands)
Now that we know which brands manufacture camping stoves in America, let’s look at each company in a little more detail
Coleman
Coleman is a very well-known outdoor brand that manufactures everything from sleeping bags and outdoor bedding to camping furniture and camping stoves. It is one of the bigger outdoor camping brands out there, having sold products in countless different countries all over the world.
With it being such a large company, it will come as no surprise to learn that lots of its production is carried out across a few different countries. That’s not to say that it doesn’t manufacture products in the US. In fact, Coleman has facilities in Chicago, Kansas, and Texas.
As for its camping stoves, from what I was able to find, Coleman manufactures one of its camping stove models in the US. That is the Coleman Dual-Fuel 2 Burner Stove. This stove is 18 x 12 x 5 inches and it weighs about 12 pounds. This makes it lightweight and small enough to bring with you with ease whilst also being large enough to cook for 2-3 people.
MSR (Mountain Safety Research)
MSR is an American-made outdoor equipment company that manufactures tents, snow gear, portable stoves, and more. MSR was founded in 1969. It began as a newsletter that offered information regarding mountaineering safety. As time went on, the company grew, and eventually, it started manufacturing high-quality mountaineering gear.
The majority of its products are manufactured between its facility in Seattle, USA, its Irish facility located in Cork, and a manufacturing center located in Korea. As for its portable stoves, it manufactures at least one line in the US. That line is the Whisperlite Stove line. It is made up of two models.
One thing that MSR takes very seriously, other than mountaineering safety, is being as environmentally responsible as possible. The company does lots of things to make its products as eco-friendly as can be. This includes designing products to last as long as possible, ensuring that its products are recyclable, and much more.

Kni-Co
Kni-Co was founded by Ted Knight in 1981. It is the smallest company on this list with 18 employees in total. But this doesn’t hold the company back. Kni-Co manufactures highly sought-after camping stoves in the US.
The company is located in Wallowa, Oregon, and this is where its manufacturing takes place. Kni-Co’s products are all handmade in the United States. Its stoves are tough, durable, and reliable.

Englander
Englander is an American company that was founded in 1976. It started as a small stove manufacturer and has since grown into a fairly large company that is well-known for its high-quality stoves.
Despite growing exponentially over the years, it has remained true to its roots and it still manufactures its products in the US to this day. It has a 100,000-square-foot factory located in Monroe, Virginia. This is where its products are tested and built.
