Do Any Companies Sell Bathroom Scales Made In Germany? (The Short Answer)
Upon doing some research, I found 1 company that offers bathroom scales made in Germany. That company is Beuer.
Beurer
Beurer is a German company that manufactures electrical devices focused on health and well-being. It was founded in Ulm, Germany in 1919. The company started off selling electrical blankets before diversifying its products in the 1980s.
Beurer states on its official website that it manufactures its products in Ulm, southern Germany.
This was the case until 1992 when some of the production was moved to the Far East and Hungary. However, one model of Beurer’s bathroom scales seems to be made in Germany. This Amazon listing states the country of origin as Germany, and on that same listing, a buyer confirms it’s made in Germany. However, this website states that it’s made in China, while this Amazon listing does as well. So, there is a little confusion, but the majority of the information points to it being a German-made product.

There were a couple of companies we encountered that stated they manufacture products in Germany, but it was impossible to confirm that their bathroom scales are made in Germany.
Kern Bathroom Scales
Kern is a family-owned German company founded in 1844 that produces scales and force gauges. Today, it is run by the sixth generation of the Kern family, making it one of just two companies from that period to remain family-owned.
It was not easy to locate its production facility, but it seems like it manufactures its products at its factory in southern Germany. However, it was impossible to confirm this. I’d recommend reaching out to the company and asking for more information. Here’s a link to the company’s contact page.

ADE is a German company based in Hamburg that has been producing products in the medical and consumer goods sector since 1935. The company proudly offers battery-free and environmentally-friendly bathroom scales.
The company claims to produce bathroom scales at its facility in Neuer Höltigbaum, Hamburg, Germany. However, they still offer models made in China, as mentioned by a reviewer. I’d recommend reaching out to the company and asking for more information. Here’s a link to the company’s contact page.

Soehnle Bathroom Scales
Soehnle, founded in 1868, is part of the German Leifheit group. The company’s goal is to get people to lead healthier lives and stay in shape. It is one of the market leaders in bathroom scales.On the company’s official website, it states “we are particularly proud of the fact that the majority of our scales have been manufactured in Germany since the company was founded in 1868”.
However, that doesn’t seem to be the case as upon doing some research, we found that Soehnle seemingly manufactures its scales in China. It looks like only vintage Soehnle bathroom scales are made in Germany.
