When it comes to baseball, Americans have been ahead of the game for a long, long time. So, when looking for a baseball bat, you might be naturally inclined to look for an American-made model.
But as more and more companies have moved production overseas to cut costs, it begs the question – do any American brands still produce baseball bats in the USA? I’ve done some research to find out.
Do Any Brands Sell Baseball Bats Made in the USA? (The Short Answer)
After doing lots of research, I found 15 brands that sell baseball bats made in the USA – Louisville Slugger, Marucci Sports, Easton Sports, Demarini, Axe Bat, Chandler Bats, Trinity Bat Company, Phoenix Bats, Victus, Warstic, Dirty South Bats, American Batsmith, America’s Bat Co., Anderson Bat Company, and Texas Timber Bats.
Louisville Slugger is an American baseball bat manufacturer founded in Louisville in 1884. It is the official Major League Baseball bat. Many of history’s greatest professional baseball players like Babe Ruth and Joe DiMaggio played using Louisville Slugger bats.
Louisville Slugger is owned by parent company Wilson Sporting Goods, which bought it in 2015. The bats are produced at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory in Louisville, Kentucky, where 3,000 bats are produced daily.
